it’s a crummy day in indy so i thought i’d share some love,

to my sweet georgia peach & her precious turtle dove.

i remember the first time i started reading her bloggy blog,

it had a little bit of everything but was lacking a fluffy, white dog.

i was all the way in kansas when i came across her page,

just minding my own business while cooking with some sage.

it didn’t take me long to realize that alishan was for real,

she says it like it is, no appointment necessary…a heck of a deal!

i loved that her blog was filled with all-around sass,

because there’s a way in which she expresses it without being crass.

i followed her adventures as she was pregnant with little luke,

& look at him now, handsome enough to be a future duke.

we seem to share a love affair for all things fly,

loubs & yurman, oh hell, Beysus’ wardrobe…yes. we die.

i knew the day would come when we’d meet in real life,

i should’ve known i’d fall in love with her, she’s the blade to my knife?

alishan, alishan, keep doing what you do,

& give that precious boy a kiss from Aunty B, too!
