1. Graduated Grad. School (go State!)
2. Moved away from the corn to start a new, exciting adventure
3. Always a bridesmaid, never the bride (until Aaron Rodgers proposes, of course!)
4. Cheered on Bro #2 as he dominated levels 1 & 2 of the CFA exam
5. Became Nurse Betty Brooke as BR healed from a successful brain tumor removal surgery
6. Watched little Bentley battle through another year
7. Met up with some of the most lovely tumblrs & cheered on some amazing Chicago marathoners
8. Received my first pair of red-soled beauties
9. Walked & walked & walked my way into oblivion
10. Witnessed so many gorgeous sunrises & sunsets
11. Took some time to be grateful for the simple pleasures in life.
12. Put my Wilton-certified cake decorating badge to use
13. Turned another year older
14. Celebrated small victories
15. Hooped & hollered the Huskers on to Victory!
16. Painted my nails…over & over & over again.
17. Learned a serious lesson about humility
18. Witnessed kindness on the greatest level.
19. Spent time with my favorite people- my family.
20. Appreciated every success & struggle to the best of my ability. It has not been an easy year, but man, has it been a year of growing up, growing wiser, & growing bolder. i’ve become more humble, more educated, & more grateful each & every day. i am more blessed than i ever imagined possible at twenty-seven years old & this year, i learned just how important simple pleasures can be when life around you feels like it is crumbling out of your control.  by standing firm in what i believe & never giving up, i know 2011 is a year i will never forget. i wouldn’t have it any other way.
