simple pleasure.
true story: i received this tupperware fruit locker set for Christmas & it was one of the most thoughtful gifts i found under the mighty non-authentic tree.
here’s the thing, i appreciate when loved ones gift me with shoes, clothes, handbags, & hair accessories.
i do.
but what i really, really love is receiving gifts that make sense in my everyday life.
for example,
most days, i pack my healthy lunch in a barbie lunchbox & tote it off to work.
my family is aware of this attempt to plan out at least one aspect of my life.
they also know i have a deep affinity for all things fresh fruit.
therefore, this gift [of three plastic pieces of fruit storage] is perfection.

it’s simple.
it’s thoughtful.
it’s so useful.

& i get the feeling my fellow lunchroom co-workers are way jealous of my bruise-free bananas, my still crisp (never smashed) grapes, & my still lookin’ just-picked-from-a-tree apples (& sometimes a pear if i can maneuver it in there just right!).
