the snow started to fall a couple days ago & it just hasn’t stopped.

from the indoors, it’s been a beautiful sight.

for example, on thursday afternoon, i had a coffee date with a friend where we sat for a couple hours while sipping caffeine & looked out the over-sized windows in between subject changes to watch the flakes fall.

it was relaxing.

the kind of relaxing that only snow can bring while indoors, off the roads, with a cup of hotness in between our hands.

this comfortable get-up was just perfect for the casual occasion.

i grabbed my oldest pair of Uggs that i hadn’t worn in years (seriously, years!),

joe’s skinny jeans,

an oversized American Vintage sweater,

a pretty blue Matta scarf,

put my hair up in a ballerina bun

& called it a wintery wonderland success.

it was pretty great.

& as the snow continues to fall, i’ll do my best to appreciate its beauty,

unfortunately, my 8 a.m. work time this a.m. drastically cut into the snow-falling appreciation session,

so, please, do enjoy it for me!
